Hey there, just started speedrunning the game and already got big questionmarks above my head. :) I watched the wr of the game and saw a glitch where Corvo rockets through the roof of his bedroom immediatly starting the cutscene with the outsider. I already figured out that i have to spam the jump button (bound it to my mousewheel as well) to get the trick going but i don't really know at which point I have to start spamming jumps. Any hints how i can get this trick to be consistent? I get it really really rarely. Thanks for answers.

You just have to jump just before you fade out at Piero, before the loadingscreen into the Outsiders Dream part. The timing is pretty precise so the mousewheel bind def helps out though it is possible to do it with just regular spacebar spam as well(but it's hard and inconsistent). If you have a mouse with a freescroll mode then it can make the trick a lot easier, but generally a fast decisive scroll should be sufficient.

Thanks for the answer. I will keep practicing it. I already get it about 40% of the time now after knowing where to jump and will manage it with the time :).
