2 good games rejected.

Ok, this is unbelievable. I got two game requests rejected. The first one was “Doki Doki Literature Club!”. This game has over 3 million downloads! I know they don’t really support visual novels, but I don’t care! And this game is horror for crying out loud! The next one is 3 AM at the Krusty Krab. This one is obviously another horror game. So why should they reject it?!

You can't really 'speedrun' a book. Like, you could just skip through the text. You can still run it tho, it doesn't need to be a leaderboard for you to run it. Make an Excel sheet

Because Krusty Krab flash game that they have already stated they are not adding to the site. Again nothing is stopping you from running it if you want just make your own community for it on wix or weebly or something.

Generally when games get rejected, there's a "reason" field.

I mean, DDLC pretty much explains itself "I know they don’t really support visual novels, but I don’t care!"

3 AM at Krusty Krab doesn't look like a visual novel to me.

3 AM at Krusty Krab? Is that a FNaF typed game?

Good games ? Where ?

There are horror games on this site though. Alone in the Dark and Resident Evil are there, may be others.

Pretty much, nothing is stopping one from playing a horror game that isn't a Visual Novel, i mean, speedruns of those would basically consist of getting to the faster ending, or if it's a Kinetic Novel ala Highway Blossoms, just skipping the text until the end of the game.

And hell, Resident Evil has a community due to the series being very popular, same with Silent Hill, Amnesia and other survival horror games.

Heck, you don't even need a full blown survival horror game, just a game with horror themes, for example, DUSK is a fun FPS that can best be described as "guy finds himself in a place full of scary looking monsters, creepy looking backgrounds, jumpscares and creepy voices while having a full arsenal of weapons ready to kill everything" and at quite a few points it actually works as a horror game despite everything, particularly in the second chapter.

Antarctica

DDLC is a visual novel. 3am At Krusty Krab is a short, flash-like game.

Neither of those get accepted on this site. Regardless if those games have horror themes or are horror games, they are still types of games that don't get accepted on the site.

I get your point that DDLC is a visual novel, and they don’t get much gameplay. And @NihilistComedyHour, 3 AM at the Krusty Krab is not a visual novel and I did not say that.

Ireland

It is a flash game it does not get accepted because it is a web based flash game.

Is it so unbelievable? Looks like you know exactly why your submissions were denied.

It’s just that DDLC is one of my favorite games, and I really wanted to submit it.

Valhalla

You don't need SRC to play and/or run DDLC
