You should always start by asking the Super mods of a game/series as they are also able to add mods. Best way to contact game mods is probably through Twitter for now. Also try the game forums, many users get notifications when threads are created for games they follow.

Moderator inactivity doesn't apply until around 3 weeks, depending on other circumstances, and it is expected that you try to contact them (exceptions may be made if they have been offline ~3+ months.) "

@Eiterbeule You can hit up the mod https://discord.gg/bcJ5awb there about it, I know he doesn't have any social media stuff up other than his twitch, also I'd suggest people be a little bit nicer unless someone is blatantly impatient or trying to get freebie mod status

This game is barely runned, but there are two runners (me included) who run this game. We want to add a new category to the game. After messaging the mod via Discord he said, he would add the category. Few days later, nothing happend. I created a forum post. Nothing happend. I messaged him via Discord again with a example video of the category. Again he said he would add it. Nothing happend.

So yeah that's the reason I want to be added as a mod for the game.

Also requesting deletion of Cold War Crisis and Frank Herbert's Dune. They were added without any runs existing and serve no purpose being on the site right now. They've been sitting there with no activity for nearly 9 months.

I am requesting to be mod of http://www.speedrun.com/Minecraft_Terra_Swoop_Force The current and only mod hasn't been on in 7 months and I have a run waiting verification for 9 months I would like to go back to running this category however there is no active mod for it. The mod is also inactive on Youtube (the only social media linked)

Both mods for http://www.speedrun.com/One_Way_Heroics appear to be completely inactive, both having last interacted with the site 10 months ago. I recently submitted a run, however it appears very unlikely they will respond- I'm not entirely sure I would personally be a great candidate to moderate the game, but both of the current ones are fully inactive.

The game does n ot have a large running community, however speedruns exist and I would appreciate the current lack of mods being rectified.

I would like to be added as a mod for "The Crew" . The game is new on this site and I want to help the two mods out. My main reason is because me and probably many more players will start using this site as an Learboard. So there will be more Runs to be verified.

@Speedbooster27 since both the mods are active you should contact them first about getting mod, this thread is a last resort if mods aren't active for a while and so on (see the very first post)

The mods for http://www.speedrun.com/Titanfall have been inactive, contacted PotatoCatt http://www.speedrun.com/user/PotatoCatt on twitch about verify my runs a few weeks ago, he logged on and didn't verify my runs, now has been absent since then, Logan http://www.speedrun.com/user/Logan_ as well I can't get a hold of, just want my titanfall runs verified (if anyone actually knows either of these two and how to actually get a hold of them that'd be great)

snes_fanatic: For more popular games, they're almost always going to want moderators that run the game. More generally it should be discussed with current moderators if possible before coming here.
