How to report outdated speedruns

Hi, I submitted a speedrun for Estranged: Act II recently and I couldnt help but notice that the other 2 speedruns on the page right now are 9 months old. This wouldnt be a problem for most games, but since Estranged is still in development, since their runs were submitted there have been numerous changes to the levels and a completely new section added. I was just wondering what the process was for getting those oudated runs removed, if there is any. Thanks!

Ask in the games Forum, they probably won't be removed, but rather moved into a new (sub-)category.

Valhalla

Why remove them? Place them in a different category or something instead, but removing them seems silly. Then again speedrunning a game that is still in development also seems silly to me, but what do I know..

Well, "remove" was probably too strong of a word, I was just saying that I am basically playing a different game than them, and we shouldnt be on the same leaderboard.

Separate categories for each version of the game is the solution. Or wait until the game is finished.

I think what some of the portal mod/mappacks did was adding a column for game version (Steampipe vs Sourceunpack V2 vs Sourceunpack V3 or whatever other exe build you may have used for a custom unpack). This could be combined with that, I think, A Hat In Time did where the beta builds had a seperate leaderboard, either as a seperate "game" on here or a seperate category, which later gets moved to the misc categories thing, to keep the boards looking clean. Making seperate categories for each version sounds kinda silly to me, a game that's still in development gets patches quite often (unless the devs don't actually care about Early Access customers).

I'm glad most people agree with my opinion. I stopped running a games cause the latest version was slower and the 2 moderator just said : use the old version if you want a wr.

There's tons of games that have different categories for different versions / patches, it's the ideal solution
