As for it not being fair is also not true. we ALL have the option to do it.. weather you want to or not is your choice.

With the game showing the IGT and the autosplitter can be used as proof that no foul play has happened.

I'm in the same boat, I know the puzzles off by heart and for other puzzles I need a cheat sheet, like the sherry puzzle. The only way I can bring it up is with my tablet, but I stream on PlayStation 4, So if I pause and look at the cheat sheet, my run may be rejected so I try to remember the puzzles, take the lab code puzzle the one for the b3 and the filling of the vial, the way I remember them is: 1 2067 2 3123 3 RGBRGBRG. I know it's not the point, but that's my work around. The only time I pause is for 2 seconds at most to work out how much time has passed for my run, that's it.

@Mid7at Wasting your time looking for cheats/hacks in someone else's runs wont help you with your run. Mods are checking all the runs thoroughly, and they would've taken care of that run if it wasnt legit. I bet its even easier to get WR without pausing, so you wont have any problem doing so. I wish you all the good luck with that.

Sorry for the noob question @TeaTotalTemplar, but what's a macros?

Macros are basically computer programs that simulated keystrokes.

You would give it a script to read, such as the button sequence for the lab codes, then when you run the macro it repeats those keystrokes. Because a macro can perform the keystrokes faster than a human could, it's a way you could save time on some puzzles in RE2 (electronic box, lab codes) but for obvious reasons is not permitted.
