Japanese N64 question

Does a JP N64 work with regular NTSC and US/Canadian wall outlets, or will I blow something up?

San Diego, CA, USA

They have different electrical sockets

United States

It's literally the same for the US and Canada. Just plug and play. Now if you were, say, in a region anywhere else (like in Europe for example) then that'd be different.

Maine, USA

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but I think you'll only experience issues if you're trying to use a PAL console to play an NTSC game or vise versa. The same goes if you're trying to play an NTSC console with a PAL CRT TV or a PAL game on an NTSC CRT TV.

Ok, thank you :) Only thing is that Japan wall outlets give 100v where US/Canada gives 120v, is there a chance that it would get fried?

Oops sorry
