Also, there's still no reply from the moderator in charge of https://www.speedrun.com/35mm . They haven't been on for about 6 weeks or so. There's been no reply to messages sent by myself, and ShikenNuggets. I have had a run pending for 3 weeks.

@tocaloni1 They were active not too long ago. Have you yourself or another active mod of those boards at least tried requesting the mod to remove themselves?

@tiovictor Okay with adding you, but you need to enable e-mail authentication in your settings before we are even able to add you at all. This is also mentioned this in the first post of this thread, so please read that carefully in the future. Please enable this and get back to us when done.

Hey there.
I'm looking to become a mod of the Terra Incognita board ( https://www.speedrun.com/terra_incognita ). For me and another party to submit our runs there need to be new catagories added. The current runs are on emulator, and there are big timing issues between the emulated version used on the board and the actual console version of the game.
The current mod hasn't been online in over and year and his linked websites (twitch, youtube, etc) are inactive so I can't get ahold of him. I've messaged the other user on the board but je doesn't know what ROM/Emu he used to run the game, so we're unable to do a run that would have comparable timing, as I've tested just about every one I can find and they all run differently so we'd rather just standardise the console version.
I see that we ideally need to submit a run to be considered, but since we need the new catagory to submit too we've not done that yet.

Hello. So I would like to become a moderator for a game called raze 2 - https://www.speedrun.com/raze_2. I have recently uploaded two runs (one of witch is the wr) and I was going to wait more but then I saw that someone else also uploaded a speedrun for the same game 3 months ago but it still wasn't verified, here is the video with the conversation in the comments -. So I would like to become the mod to be able to verify runs, also the current mod might not want to verify one of my runs because it beats his current WR.

@Wildfireskunk Next to having a pending or existing run on an existing category, we also require moderators to enable e-mail authentication (MFA) and 2 social media links to their profile before posting here. Read the first post of this thread carefully in the future before posting here.

@VideoGameCarnage It's been 3 weeks, but the mod appears active on Twitter so preferably, I'd like you to send a message to the mod on there first. Get back to us if there is no answer after a reasonable amount of time.
@andresfgp13 Besides the fact that you do not have e-mail authentication enabled on your profile (which is necessary for us to even consider your request) the game mod also appears active on Twitter. Please use that time and try and message them on there first.

@TrianReallyHard Demoting them for.. what reason exactly? If this is a removal request: Besides dogpun, every Super Mod has been inactive for about a month or two and they have a bunch of social media contacts attached to their profile. Have you tried reaching out to them at all before posting here?

@Wildfireskunk Seems like emulator and console weren't separated on that board. Either way, requesting moderation still requires a pending run (or existing in some cases) if possible within existing categories. If you've done a console run, you can submit that to the board for now. The separation should probably be looked at once you become added as a mod.
