Could we get the following categories added for the NES version please?

All Armor

All Armor + All Hearts

100%

Thanks!

What would 100% entail? You probably want to at least provide the rules (to be used with speedrun.com's "Show Rules")

United States

100% Rules

Must have the following at the defeat of the final boss:

All Armor (Belt, Breastplate, Boots, Helm, Sword, Shield) All Hearts (Park, Downtown, Houses, Airport, Warehouses, Hotels, Shipyard, Beach, Prison) All Fruits (3 Pears, 4 Apples, 4 Pomegranates, 4 Grapes, 4 Bananas) Torch Raft Sampson's Jawbone Train Ticket

Keys/Anointing Oil/Spirit Points/Vials of Wrath not required as these are consumable resources.

I only know of 3 Bananas. Prison (7,0), Hotels (3,9), and Beach (D,C). Where is the forth at? or maybe that just a typo?

United States

4th is in the passage to the train in shipyard (5,C). On the train station side, go in, go down a screen and bomb the bottom left corner at the bottom of the ladder.

Turns out there's 4th Pear as well. It's in the Shipyard (3,C) shortcut.

I also just made an Overworld Map, let me know if I'm missing anything.

Nice find. Looks like you have everything. I've got a google sheet witha map on it as well and routing stuff. Nearly done then I'll share. I'll be making a page as well soon. I'd like to get a full overworld map of screen shots as well to show exact locations and to show routing.

This is the initial 100% Route that I have come up with. I'm sure there are plenty of things to change but it's something to start with at least.

Here is what I came up with for my 100% Route.

I figured more deathwarps would be used in your route for NES since you move much slower. Something I didn't really look into and just assumed was that skipping hearts and getting them later with the Jawbone or Sword would be faster. Which maybe be true in some cases but probably not all.

I've also started putting together a full overworld map with the actual game screens. As of right now I have Park, Downtown, Slums, and Prison. I'll post it once I finish it. Then eventually I'll add in the inside areas as part of it I think.

You don't need to deathwarp. E/c means End and Continue

Sorry if I was being confusing but by saying deathwarp. I mean pause and end the game which takes you to the same game over screen as if you died.

Here is full overworld map. Not sure how I want to add inside area's to it and demon's lair. I plan to add item locations on it though at some point.

Well I rerouted a few things and did a run. Got 1:00:20 here is the Video.

I forgot to get downtown heart when I was there and then accidentally paused after getting the last hit on the final boss.

Something I noticed in your route is that after the breastplate you say to E/C out. Where does that take you on NES? On Genesis it's just puts me outside the door to the boss room (I assume it's the same on both). In this area there are 2 enemies. If you make sure to not kill the top one when first going though you can use it on the way back to do the screen transition back to the very first door and immediately be able to exit out into downtown again. Which would cut running across the roofs.

Inside Map: 2,2 to 2,1
