Hello, I would like to speedrun the Game Elite: Dangerous https://www.speedrun.com/Elite_Dangerous but the current moderator for the game @Ninjadeer has not been active for the past 10 months and has no way to contact him on his page. The Current Speedrun Challenges are irrelevant because they are game version specific, and there is no why to downgrade versions for this game. People Speedrun this game but don't post there times due to the irrelevant Challenges. I would like to become SuperMod for this game and get it active once again.
@6oliath I am willing to talk to him about the situation and am waiting on a response currently. I am trying to be fair to him and tell him why his way is very uncommon to most speedruns on site and not very welcoming. We will see if hes willing to negotiate on how we could change up the rules in the future.
I would like to be a Mod in Ninja Roy (https://www.speedrun.com/Ninja_Roy) speedrunning. I want to be a Mod because I want to get into running that game, and nobody has done a run of it for over a year, and I want to try to bring back the speedrunning community for said game. Also, I'm almost positive none of the other mods are active.

Comment on timers:
For most games a run doesn't need a timer for accurate time tracking. The time on the timer splits is also commonly a second or two off the actual time of the run due to user error. The time of the run is actually the time of the gameplay, not necessarily the time on the timer.
A common exception to not needing a timer could be if a livesplit auto-splitter is used for time without loads. That would be a good reason to require a timer on the screen. If there's not a good reason to require a timer, it shouldn't be required. This seems to me to be what the majority of boards are doing.
@SpiderSponge I know one of the mods is active but MKW is a Big game and Jcool told that he would add more mods if he could that he may need some help @kirkq Tyler has been inactive for over 2 months, TheCrazyCroco for 1½ months and NinjasInCarpets for 15 days. As I answered to SpiderSponge, 1 Mod ( Jcool114) is not enough for moderating the Full MKW speedrun board. And he told me that he has noticed that he is alone moderating the game, he also said that I could be a Mod but he couldn't add me. PD: I am not going to make Twitter just for this situation Edit: NinjasInCarpets connected yesterday but not for Mario Kart Wii, still, 2 mods are not enough for moderating the full MKW speedrun board as it is a really big game @KomradeKontroll Been waiting for a week for Lafungo to accept my Discord request. - Mod has not responded to forum post about active moderation for over 2 weeks.
- Mod's only method of contact is an inactive Discord account.
- I moderate 40+ games, including web games like "What's Inside The Box?"

Hey as you can see from how I verified your run I am active in SR.com (I have not uploaded many runs cos I'm working and cba). As for Ninja Roy specifically Hacked% is dead cos there is barley any time to save (feel free to try) and the Any% time is pretty good too tbh. I will always be around (never gone for more than 2 days) to verify runs as for doing runs I doubt me or the other runner will do any runs any time soon. But feel free to run the game and leave any suggestions in the forums.
@fluffycq Most of the mods are active. Please contact them. Please don't request moderation here when at least one of the mods are active. And being inactive fir 5 days isn't even an issue. Mods have lives ,too. And also, read the first post of this thread.
@kirkq Thank you I appreciate it. I am willing to help with modding that series if he feels it is too much work checking those runs to verify them w/o timer. But if he is gonna accept the changes that is fine by me as well. Just want to help out the community either way :)
