Hi,

I'm starting to have some interest about this game and noticed that the WR run video is missing on Regular, Normal Missions, what do people do in such occasion? is there a mirror somewhere or should we remove it from the leaderboard?

Hi TrickyBoy, I'll see if I can contact WR holder about this and see what has happened. Unfortunately, there may not be a way to recover it, however, I see no reason to remove his run. His run was watched and verified at the time WillTendo and I took over the board so the run did exist and was legit, whether the video is still there (keep in mind it was submitted 2 years ago) it is still WR as of right now. If you have any questions about learning the game/run I would be more than welcome to help since the best reference video for the category is no longer available.

I don't think that is really fair for newcomer tho, we can't watch and study the strats of the WR to try to beat it. I understand that the run was most likely legitimate and that if the dude re-upload it then it belong here as the WR on the leaderboard but as of now the video no longer exist and the guy seems to be banned on sr.com too, just my opinion aniway. I understand the frustration of not being able to study their run, however, there are plenty of people who can help you with strats. Luckily with this game, outside of the boss fights, there are very little strats to really be studied. The only timesave you can get over other runners are in the boss fights and faster mashing through menus (which plenty of other runs do optimal strats, see WR for Beginner - Normal Missions)

I can assure you the run is definitely legitimate, if you have any doubt about that you can speak with WillTendo (who verified the run). I will not be removing this run because 1) why erase history of the game? 2) The run is from 2 years ago, I am very confident that the time is not optimal and could be easily beaten with a bit of effort 3) It is still WR whether there is proof now or not since when it was verified, there was proof. I'm also not sure why you think he is banned on SRC. When someone is banned on SRC their name color turns gray out and it says "banned" when you hover over it. his profile only seems to be inactive, and inactive =/= banned.

Again if you want help learning the game I am more than willing to explain anything you are confused about.
