This leaderboard now has a new moderation team and the previous RGT ruling is planned to be abolished in favour of IGT allowing us to reorganise the leaderboard in a way that merges all platforms under one single banner without having to worry about load time discrepancies between platforms. In addition to no longer enforcing an external timer, this allowsa us to keep an even playing field between all platforms and also ensures that PC users who previously chose to alter the game files of stage backgrounds to be blank in order to speed up loading times will no longer have any objective benefit over anyone else when submitting their times.
All existing runs on the leaderboard will soon be reassessed for IGT based on the combined total of the in-game timer like how is already done with SF4 and SFV. (99s minus K.O time for each round of gameplay in the run)
You are free to still submit with RTA as a reference if you wish but the official rankings will be ordered by the fastest in game time after it has been confirmed during verification.
