New glitch discovery! (Only applicable for flashpoint version)

(If preformed well, this glitch can save <1 minute is regular runs)

In the flashpoint version, there is a glitch where if you resize the germinator tab, collisions are disabled. This means that the GE and bloodstream sections of every character are essentially a straight dash to the end. For the lungs section, you will have to resize the tab back to the default since you need to have target cell collision.

EDIT: Switched this glitch over to a subcategory per request to not cause confusion. Also I noticed that the unnamed objects in crumpet ear strangely have collision, maybe this can be used for something?

I downloaded Flashpoint and beat the record with the glitch. However I kind of have an issue with how the categories are handled. Resizing the tab to disable the collisions on the whole game is more of abusing an error in the emulation. It's not possible by resizing the original web version, which to me feels like that's unfair if it's only possible by abusing an emulation quirk. I'm fine with "Any% Resize" being on the leaderboards, but I think it shouldn't be the first category. So maybe have Any% with no right click as the first category and Any% Resize as the second category.

Another thing, it's good that timing is now clarified in the rules, but since we changed the timing, all previous runs should be retimed to match the new timing system. The new timing is about 1 second shorter (not exactly), so all the previous runs are at a 1 second deficit.

I was thinking the same, but I wanted to see what other people thought about it before I changed anything. I’ll get to retiming today, shouldn’t be too bad.

Alright sounds great! Should the right click still be banned? I still think it could save 1-2 seconds.

I mean it was never banned (besides when glitchless was a thing), so if you can save any amount of time with it, then go for it!
