New and Looking for Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy

Hey, all,

Looking at getting into speedrunning on some of my childhood favs, and "The Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy" on the NES is at the top of the list.

Haven't seen much on it, so I was going to check and see if anyone around here knows of anything. I'm super new to speedrunning, but Dizzy seems like a fun game to try on. Any replies are welcome and appreciated. Thanks. :-D

Welcome to the community! Here's the leaderboard for "Dizzy". http://www.speedrun.com/The_Fantastic_Adventures_of_Dizzy/full_game

I wish you the best of luck on your runs! :)

Ironically, I'm looking for this game too, and the page linked above seems to be a broken link. I can't find it in search either. Anyone can help?

I've searched, and there doesn't seem to be on the site: https://www.speedrun.com/dizzy

Not a one for The Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy or Fantastic Dizzy (EU and Australia name). There's one for Fantasy World Dizzy, but it's an earlier game, (and not NES,) from what I gather. Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fantastic_Dizzy

...I guess make a category for it? There seems to already be existing runs/ TASes on Youtube for it.

In order to request the game you’ll need a run of it done by yourself. You’re not allowed to take existing runs done by other people for requesting the game.

More than likely the game existed a year ago but probably had no runs so site staff cleaned it up and deleted it which is why the link is now dead.

Exactly what Timmiluvs said, don't try and take other people's runs if that's what my wording may have sounded like. I was just pointing out that there are existing runs elsewhere. Watch those and make a route, or just come up with one on your own, but either way the submitted run has to be run by you in order to request the game.

(Sorry about that!)
