Driver Segmented speedrun timing

I'm planning to do a segmented speedrun, and I noticed that the IGT time is very different from the "normal" time, possibily caused by the fact that Driver runs very slow in certain portions of the maps (FPS loss on weather effects and big amount of traffic cars aswell)..

So I would like to know how the IGT timer works..

I wanna ask.. Do I need to include the motel menus and/or memory-card saving and/or the post-mission menu in the final timer or can I just count the actual time of each mission as only (In game timer of the missions)?

I hope I could be understandable as much as possible..

Segmented runs should count everything but loading screens, but the time was just taken over from SDA, so it's possible it's not entirely true for Driver. What you see in "Real time" is actually "Time without loads". I was planning to correct this, but didn't get to it yet.

IGT should be correct for both runs, unless I made a mistake. It was a really painstaking job to time it :) It only counts the timer, like in IL runs.

Okay, so I'm just gonna count the actual In-game Timer of the missions as only, like I did with the IL runs

Anyways, thanks for clarification! :)

Driver's IGT and game speed depends on your current framerate, that's why ZhouTai's real time is almost twice as long as his actual IGT - fps issues with PS version. It's a bit stupid, because there might be some differences amongst different hardware, but since IGT doesn't include cutscenes, hotel, menuing and other stuff, you should count time without loads, as per SDA rules. That's the primary timer for all segmented runs if IGT cannot be used.
