Is there anyway we could make the snes version a different category than any%, the snes version of the game is shorter than the pc version

Thats exactly what I was thinking. Ask the mods.

But actually, instead of a new category it should be like Doom. Since doom is basically never the same as the pc version when on console they have many games, because that would be WAY too many categories. SNES Doom has its own game, Same for the PC original, 32X Port, Xbox 360, and every other bajillion doom ports.

I agree, different ports of the game should be their own categories. (IMO, different source ports should also be their own categories, especially since there are strategies and timesaves not possible in the DOS version of the game. This is most notable in the mission packs for Spear of Destiny, where in GZDoom the runner can open multiple secret pushwalls at the same time to save time)

I'm attempting to get Wolfenstein 3D's SNES port to have its own game in the series.

I advocate to make the GBA and Snes versions for different boards.

The Xbox live arcade port is near perfect, likely the same times possible for IGT, so dunno if there is much difference?

I requested a new board, and speedrun.com denied it saying "There is already a board for this game" Like do they realize the SNES Port's differences aren't like most games where just a few enemies are slower possibly, Yeah that is a difference but also ONLY A FEW PARTS ARE THE SAME AS THE PC ORIGINAL.

Also I couldn't agree that the GBA Port could have its own leaderboard. Its identical to the PC original, Its a total conversion to the .gba file format. But it is much slower according to some sources, The par time counter is the same though so that doesn't really matter. When I watch a GBA video I don't see any lag.

Great news! They just responded, The port was rejected, But they told me to contact the series moderator and they will add the game. Lemme do that.

No SR50 in the 360 port I'm pretty sure, I'm fine with it staying here though
