"timing stops on the last input" on what exactly

Arizona, USA

Bruh, FNaF 3. Duh, that's what we're talking about.

Ukraine

Well, the last input is the first frame of 6 AM screen if we're about Any%, otherwise restart the game when the 6 AM screen is fully visible (aka when the game counts you beating Night 5 and onward).

The last input in FNaF 3 is in the minigame.

last input in fnaf 1 and 2 is 6 am screen, because if you let the game play out without hitting anything you end up back at the title screen, showing you beat the game. inf fnaf 3, if you let the game play out after 6 am screen, you end up in the minigame, not at the title screen, so you have to play out the minigame until you get to the point where you dont need to input anything in order to get back to the title screen/end screen, which is where we stop the timer already.

Ukraine

Even if so, why would you need to play it in 2, 3 or 4 star runs?

Arizona, USA

Because it's part of the game, same reasoning. It has inputs, meaning it's apart of the game.

Ukraine

Then the thing is that the final input is not at all in that minigame.

Arizona, USA

I don't know how you could possibly not understand what I'm saying to you. Can you just cut it out? You're not changing anything, you're just being annoying.

Ukraine

Wise words I could also apply to you

Arizona, USA

The difference is that I'm not complaining about every little thing I dislike for no reason, I'm replying to messages put on a forum for a game I verify speedruns for.

Ukraine

I explained my reasoning behind those complaints.

Arizona, USA

And I explained our reasonable thought processes behind the rules you were complaining about and why they won't change.

Ukraine

Inclusion of the Purple Guy miniagme in 3 and 4-stars categories (I realised my mistake including the 2-stars category, the run still ends on the same moment) didn't get a reasonable explanation; the final goal in them is to hit 6 AM on Nightmare, which then requires no additional input from the player since they will eventually be sent to the main menu anyway. It all simply contradicts itself. By your logic, every story minigame has to be kept in the run after every 6 AM screen just 'cause they require some action from us to continue normally, even though they still don't contribute to the progression and we still have a way to go in our run. But it's speedrunning after all, if the game has already counted us beating the challenge, why not just continue? I truly believe I am being fair in my point and just want to make it easier for everyone. But, I really am unsure what more to say to you if another condition arises.

Alright, I see how it is. You've learnt nothing. You maybe see me as some kind of off-side problem, don't you? But I never tried to appear as rude, annoying or anything else you imagine me to be behind the scenes. I just tried to get proper answers to my questions when some came up. If you decided to stay cynical and could only think of setting up a "grand ratio" in your group and nothing more, then I have nothing more for you. Spending your time on these forums is as sad as overall speedrunning these games. You put your time and effort into it and you simply are not welcome. Fine, keep your runs and rules for whatever you decide is "right". Might as well spend my free time elsewhere rather than fight with such an incompetent team as you.

Ngl man you're the most pretentious guy I've ever seen. Please do spend your time elsewhere.

Mans cried that he didn't get answers even though I gave him answers, he just didn't wanna accept them.
