I was wondering if anyone has a good seed save state for the N8 pro. I have absolutely tried everything. I've reset the game, power cycled by turning on and off, went to lunch, came back, tried again, told my neighbor about it (clueless) and asked my dog if he had any advice (He did not, just wagged his tail). No matter how I go about it, the only seed I can muster is the one with Laura. I've never been able to spawn the Paul and Crissy seed in the right locations. Any help at this point would be make you a legend in my book. I am currently updated on the firmware if that has anything to do with it.
Unfortunately, those won't work with the N8 Pro relative to my knowledge. Been at it for close to a year now trying find a solution. Save files are different between the two.
I can post mine when I can get back to my desktop if I don’t have them on iCloud. It took me hours to get the right seed when I was trying to set them up. Running this game off of a flash cart instead of an original cart could be miserable.
I did have states on iCloud, so I uploaded them (I think). The states are older so I’m only 90% sure they’re the right ones, so if any of them are wrong please let me know and I’ll correct them when I can get back downstairs and check them on my N8 Pro. I don’t know if Day 3 was after a 3 or a 4 cycle since these were the first states I made, but I know I have a 3 cycle on there somewhere that I can drop in.
Thank you so much ZeroThe14th for posting the save states for the N8 Pro! I Honestly think it may have been the rom I'm using causing the issues I was having. Just wanted to make this last post to let you know the save files you uploaded did in fact work and are the right ones. Again much appreciated!
Awesome! I was worried I used a four cycle day 2 to get the Day 3 state, or worse, the four cycle woods Day 2. I should have posted those months ago but I kept forgetting.
I was only able to check the day one save so far, so I'm not sure if the day 2 and 3 saves are the right cycles yet(sorry about that). I'll double check them when I get home from work tonight to make sure they're the right ones. I had to modify the file name a bit since our roms were a little different but it still loaded right up.
No worries! Let me know what you find out, and I can adjust the save states accordingly, assuming I don't get the chance to check them myself before then.
The Day 2 and 3 save states have been updated in the resources section and are now for the good seed Day 2, and good seed Day 3 after a 3 cycle Day 2 fight.
When I checked the timestamps for the savestates, I remembered that I made about 30 copies of the good seed just in case, since it took me so many hours to actually get the right seed and I didn't want to do that again. All I did was upload the character select screen with the good seed on Day 1 three different times.
Sorry for the mixup there, it should all be good for Days 2 and 3 now if they're redownloaded.
