I'm decently new to Doom speedrunning and I can't seem to figure out how to strafe on KB+M. What I thought was right only seems to slow me down. If anyone has any tips that would be great!

What you want to do for strafing on keyboard is to hold the WD key to strafe right, and hold the WA key to strafe left.

Strafe running is just running at a 45 degree angle. For SR50, in Unity, it's literally just the same thing. It has auto SR50 unlike source ports, so you have the advantage of having max speed at all times when moving (controller being controller dependent though) without having to deal with holding multiple keys down and having your angle locked like on source ports.
