Why does sorting by loads in games with loads/loadless sorting put runs with a missing time on the selected side at the bottom? Seems like the logic should fallback on the other (non-missing) time (or at least make an option for it, for games where it's unrealistic to convert times).

I don't think that this is necessarily a problem with the site and moreso with twitch.tv's player, but occasionally embedded twitch vods will automatically play (see ESA first round cuts thread for examples)

United States

BetaM: Can you point to a specific case?

tdawg91: It seems to be an issue with Twitch's player. I think it was brought to Twitch's attention. (no comment) Might be good to just disable autolinking urls that fit the criteria for now.

For example Portal (sorted with loads) http://www.speedrun.com/Portal (not saying that it specifically should have this btw, just showing the problem)

Same deal the other way around (sorted without loads):

Back in the feedback thread...

I'd like to suggest something about the forums;

An unique topic for username change requests. I just think having many topics with one to three posts for that is kinda... pointless ? Like, it just takes all the space imo.

(Own opinion) Since one guy asked for this, more and more request name changes, so maybe something else would be more effective and less time consuming for the admins. My thought is a one-time change you can do from your profile settings. However, it'll require more work for the admins at first, but on the long term it might be better.

Nevertheless, I thought about having a centralized place for name requests too, that wouldn't hurt for sure.

Well, it's just a suggestion anyway :P

Still, i have to say, that one-time change from the profile setting doesn't seems like a bad idea at all.

Moderation system is still a bit broken from what i've seen.
Can you elaborate on this? We're still working out some of the smaller functionality details, but is there anything actually broken at the moment?
I don't moderate anything much so I can't really say, I just say that because of the problems people had moderation.

On the Puddle IL leaderboards, there had been a level with ² on it, as the level is called http://puu.sh/hvcuB/d396715d9e.png

The URL was the same for both that level and the level before, and clicking on either one resulted in this http://puu.sh/hvcxc/66dc149738.png

It's not much of a problem now, as it was changed to just have 2 instead, but I thought I'd post it in case.

My custom theme has a white background. Which means that usernames with white text are unreadable. Can you add an option in the theme customiser to turn white names black?

Is there a way to have the "times in milliseconds" feature available for a game's level leaderboard but not its full-game leaderboard? Currently it appears that if you enable it you have to have it be on both, and it is annoying as a moderator to have to manually edit full-game submissions that include milliseconds when we only want them to be included for level runs.

it would be cool to have the ability to "follow" a game or series and get updates on new times

Stickied thread to request name changes? Given the number of threads for such requests on the first page here, seems like it might be a good way to cut out some of the clutter.

Cambridgeshire, England

It's probably best to have a list of requested features somewhere; there are a lot of multiple requests for the same thing.
On the Puddle IL leaderboards, there had been a level with ² on it, [..] The URL was the same for both that level and the level before, and clicking on either one resulted in this [...]
Thanks for letting us know, I'll look into the best way to fix it.
My custom theme has a white background. Which means that usernames with white text are unreadable. Can you add an option in the theme customiser to turn white names black?
I'm assuming the same problem occurs for red names on red backgrounds, green on green etc. So rather than adding a dozen of options, a single option for changing colours that are very similar to the background seems more sensible (but also harder to implement).
Is there a way to have the "times in milliseconds" feature available for a game's level leaderboard but not its full-game leaderboard?
Not yet but it will be in the future.
it would be cool to have the ability to "follow" a game or series and get updates on new times
Absolutely, this is already on the todo list but it's a rather big update which is why it isn't done already.
Stickied thread to request name changes?
Such a thread should be created soon.
It's probably best to have a list of requested features somewhere; there are a lot of multiple requests for the same thing.
Maybe, but on the other hand it's actually nice to get multiple requests for the same thing since that lets us know what features are wanted by a lot of people. Additionally there is obviously a non-public list and features are requested faster than they can be implemented, so that list gets longer and longer. Features being requested again is a good way to get them moved back to the top of that list.
Quick question: once someone submits on a game will it show up in the My Runs page immediately or only after it has been accepted. Additionally, how long does it usually take for a submission of only about 23 minutes long?
It'll only show up on your profile/leaderboard once it's accepted. A way to view pending submissions is still in the works. How long it takes depends on how active the moderators for that game are. In your case there seems to be only one who hasn't been online in 2 weeks, so perhaps it would be a good idea if you request to become a mod in this thread, assuming you're up for that.

Bavaria, Germany
Please explain further what you mean by "become a mod in this thread". Thanks.
I actually said "request to become a mod in this thread". By posting in that thread, you can request to become a moderator of Adventures of Lolo since the current moderator is inactive. Being a moderator of the game means that you'll be responsible for keeping that leaderboard in good shape, i.e. mainly verifying runs. Now because the current mod is inactive, clearly someone is needed to keep it up-to-date but that's only gonna help if that person is not going to be inactive as well. So if you're up for that, post in that thread. If not don't post obviously, but that does mean there's still no one to verify your runs.

cool frontpage

Yeah, frontpage looks dumb atm. Every game should be limited to 3 categories to appear on frontpage at same time.

Otherwise it'd just look like this: http://i.imgur.com/f3UoKHy.png

The separation of ILs from the front page could also address this. I think I saw that suggestion a little while ago, so hopefully it's coming soon.

I like the feature of having regions/variables etc. not obsolete each other, but can you make the ranking numbers skip additional runs of the same runner?
