I'm in a crossroad when I can choose to do a MS or a 5-year PhD, personally i'll just stop at a MS because I don't want any more studying

Recently in college I DID want to get into speedrunning, but in physics degree I had minimal time to do it, I just want some freetime to practcice speedrunning

Ask your professors. Maybe request the school to put you in touch with some MS alumni from your university and find out how they’ve done career-wise without a PhD.
