It’s because emulators can do savestates and spliced runs. Actually, some TAS was made on emulator and clearly show the problem about that.

I have a run done on a site called retro games cc. I don't think you can do tas there. plus I'm not to good at editing so I don't think I could do a spliced run and if I did than you could tell by the audio right?

There is way too much room for cheating in emulators so we would rather keep things to console, but dont let it stop you playing and comparing your times to the leaderboards. Got any videos of your runs?

Yeah bro I got a video right here check it out. also tell me where it would place me on the leaderboard for this level vid:

are you trolling? lol it wouldnt rank at all, because you've slowed the game speed down. This is why we've banned emulators

I've heard from someone else on speedrun.com that the site's emulator was slowed down compared to official hardware but I didn't think it would be a big deal sorry about that. Btw I'm not trolling.

A low end pc. It's called the ImagineBook, if you've never heard of it I don't blame you. Are you sure it's the hardware though, I mean this isn't a emulator you download were talking about this is an online emulator you can get in your browser. If you want you could go to the site retro game cc and play this game, take a similar route through the course as I did and if it's way still faster then I guess it really is the hardware. ( in which case I need to earn enough money to buy a better computer.
