Option to disable real time completely from the leaderboards

I'm super moderator of Super Skelemania leaderboards. Our community only uses in-game time for the runs and because there's no way to completely disable real time for the submitting the runs etc, I (and other mods) have to manually remove real times every time and inform the runners that it's not necessary to write the real time section.

There's other much bigger games that only uses in-game time (Celeste for example), it has to be real hassle to remove real times every time uninformed runner submits real time too, because they think that you need to fill out everything. :)

Unless I'm missing some setting, I have looked for it many times.

But anyways, I hope this thing would be somewhat higher priority, at least after redesign goes live.

if Real time is not required in Skin% you could disable in-game time as the name just defaults to "Time" then, just specify that you need to submit IGT in the rules then.

To be honest, I don't understand what you're saying.

Yes, Skin% does require RTA. Category is dead and archived. I don't want to remove it, because of the "history". (Also, archiving leaderboards would be good feature too, but that's seperate and less important issue).

Yes, I have setup default time to be in-game time.

Yes, I have mentioned in the rules that fill only in-game time.

However, this is NOT good solution. This won't stop people submitting real times too.

Good solution would be time options for categories, like checkboxes that toggle real time and/or in-game timer.

Like seriously, will hundreds of players in Celeste leaderboard remember to not fill the real time section? I don't think so. I don't know for sure if this is really big issue there, but solution is mostly pretty simple and not far fetched.

I mean, if someone submits a real-time when they aren't suppose to, whoever is verifying the run can just remove that real-time. That being said, not necessarily against the idea.

Yes, I know that mods can remove times, that's what I have been doing. I said that in the first post even...

But it's not unreasonable to ask this feature, specially when it removes unnecessary steps for mods.

Fair enough. I don't really see anything unreasonable about it; I would guess it would come down to the ease in which it could be implemented. I imagine RTA is a fixed field for a reason though, so might be hard to get functionality removing it. But given that it might be simpler than that, I don't really see any negatives with the idea.
