The method you are describing would work for preverve catagories, although the usefulness of it is in question, now that placing items such as levers/buttons on the outside of the bedrock box is allowed.
Oh, okay. For no exploits, though, may I suggest that you add into the rules the fact that for THAT category alone, you can not alter the command blocks with levers and such? I don't think it's even a question that you can call that an exploit, after all, even if you allow it for glitchless
