Could someone give me some basic information on speedruning this game.

Especially Getting wing from mix.

The way the mix works is that the entire roulette is randomized, Make sure to keep home buffering throughout the cycle. This is done in hopes that you land on wing. After the first cycle you should get a feeling for where wing is in the cycle relative to the other abilities, and you should try to time it based off of that.

If you're having far too much trouble mixing, You can skip the 1-1 mix and take Wing from the 1-4 Hal Room instead.

Ok. I’m having trouble dive bomb canceling. I’m pressing 2 but it never seems to listen and I always hit the ground.

Yeah the timing can be weird, You have to press 2 while he's falling. IF you just try to mash 2 it's not going to work

I have 2 questions:

1. What’s random about mix? Where it starts and where it stops or The placement of the copy abilities on the roulette.

2. How does home buffering even work because it still goes to fast and I only get it if I happen to press the home button while I’m on the right copy ability and then quickly press the 2 button right after I un-pause the game. ( it took me 50 tries btw )

3. What should I do if I fail and I don’t get a good copy ability?

I mean 3 questions not 2

1. Roulette order, number of abilities it passes by is the same every time
2. You have to keep mashing the home button. It's not consistent at all so I recommend learning the placement of Wing. When unpausing, just hold down the 2 Button

I’m having a problem where I’m shuttle looping into enemies when I’m trying to use condor heading. How do I stop this from happening?

Let go of the d-pad when Condor Heading

But then I’ll be use Feather Gun instead.

While in the air, You do not need to hold any direction in order to use the Condor Head, you only need to be running

Is a sideways wii remote the only way to play krtd? I would rather use a classic controller.
