Free 2 Play Games that can be speedrun

Wondering what games the community runs that are free 2 play.

I have found a few like Neon Boost & Drop Alive, but what else are people running?

Mobile is a good platform for F2P. There are loads of games I could recommend including Cat Bird, Swordigo, Data Wing, Speed Run 2, Super Bear Adventure, Sword of Xolan.. If you are interested, let me know what kind of game / run you like and whether you are on Android or iOS

I don't currently have a phone (usually use Android) so my runs are mostly on PC. Need to get myself back into running though.

My only concern with Mobile (especially on Android) is recording the video proof, since Android doesn't allow video with game sound as far as I know without root hacking it.

I tried to force myself to pick up Doom the Roguelike in time for roguearama, but alas it was too big a learning curve on short notice - DoomRL has no presence on this website, but within it's own community it has some crazy players who have recorded things, and videos reaching in-game speed goals are pretty intense to watch if you can find them - that said I feel that consistency with it would require MASSIVE knowledge of game mechanics.

I run Buller bill 3 on PC its a web based game but we are looking for nee runners if you be down for that

United States

I personally run Pirate101. It's an MMORPG, so some of the categories do require you to pay, but specifically Fin% and Manny% are completely free. (Just as a reminder, [not a moderator of the game but this is my best guess] the reason why the LBs are structured the way they are is because Any% would take multiple days [my best guess is at most optimized around 100 hours, most likely more] to complete) The only setback to running it is that it is heavily RNG-focused. Also, unfortunately no co-op categories yet, although that could become a thing sometime in the future.

Super Smash Land is a interesting little Speedrun, allowing the player to select any of the 6 Characters to complete the Arcade Mode in a Gameboy Style Smash Bros Game.

Florida, USA

Zool is a 10 second speedrun that requires a frame perfect start and release of one button pretty much. Takes a few hours to learn and get without savestates

Utah, USA

Warframe is popular somewhat. I know Destiny 2 is too. A lot of mobile games can be found in the windows store app.

Greater Manchester, England

Trackmania Nations Forever is a free game on Steam if you like racing games.

Australia

Mr Bree Returning Home! A short Platformer (5 minutes) with little competition and ILs that can be done in under 10 seconds a lot of the time. Itd be awesome if more people joined our community

I know this thread is a month old but...

Overclocked. Actual freeware, not freemium. Though you can only get it on steam. I'd say it's one of the more challenging free games out there, but I love the sense of flow, it doesn't even feel like freeware...just turn on dedicated dash and moving feels so much better.

Here's an IL from it I did:

For running Free to Play games, you can browse the games list while filtering by "Web" platform, You get a list of about 1000 games which you can play instantly on the browser. The list have many different genres (2D/3D Platformers, puzzle, point and click, etc...), and some of the games are very short/nonsensical, so you will have to decide what you like and want to run.

I personally run and moderate some 2D platformers, if that is your cup of tea.
