Basically it's called crazy targest, and it's a speedruning course that has in-game leaderboards for each character. A few years ago I got 8/16 1st's, my channel exploded, I got 12K total views (it blew my mind). The years passed and now the runs are very perfected, but none is proven on video; so It would be a good idea if you guys make crazy targets as a misc or ILs category with leaderboars for each character. The rules would be: -Runs assisted by more than one person are not allowed since it's a course to be done by one person and apart from the leaderboards as well. -IGT is used for runs. -Any glitch is allowed as long as it's done by a single person, without the help of someone else.
This is a good idea, as a player that is mostly on the leaderboard in the top 300, if not close to the leaderboard, I know just how helpful this can be
The igt is weird as instead of normal decimal times (1,2,3...98,99) The pvz time it (1,2,3...58,59)
For crazy targets or gnome targets, we've already have a category for it but with all 16 characters. But For individual character levels it wouldn't make sense since there is already the in-game leaderboards for individual characters that complete the gnome targets in the game itself. So anyone can keep track on their time they got in the game instead of the GW2 speedrun leader board
I've also changed the category name from gnome targets to crazy targets, so it wouldn't sound confusing.
In-game leaderboards that include videos of each runs are the ones that wouldn't make sens to be on speedrun.com. For the first part I've ment to say that the game already has a leaderboard for individual characters for crazy targets, so it wouldn't make sense to have it on here, plus making a category for all 16 individual characters would be too much. This would only make it into "sub-game" leaderboards if we ever make one for this game.
No problem man. I came up with this idea because at this point all the 16 leaderboards have been completely broken due to cheats. It's now that I realize the work it would take 16 ils for something that it's not that special. Sorry if I was rude at some point on this forum, I would not like to have a bad relationship with people that I personally admire.
not alot of people would run every single character aswell, thats why we only did the category for all 16 characters so there wouldn't be around 16 subcategories for every individiual character, aswell as having a purpose in running every single character in one run, instead of individually and some might miss out.
People dont even upload his times on YouTube. Back in 2017-18 i was the only how was doing that, but then people star heting better and after some months all my privious records were beaten, but not a single one was on YT. So my question is: should i take my runs as a world record beause they have video proof? or put my rank on the title? should i keep with the "no vid no did" argument?
they can be considered as world record if it has proof sure why not.
