I play on the pc version of the game. about 1 month into playing (in 2010)I found a spot were the hit-box in the wall allows you to drive through. This spot is in the level rebel attack, about 1/3 of the way from the entrance on the north wall of the tie fighter aria. Is this just in my game? Would this count in a speed run?

If people who read this want to try it, I'm sorry I can't help you its exact location is based on where in the game you are based on completion percentage (in my game at least) as well as what ship you spawn in as. You will need to do it in free play as to get into to the aria in the first place so this will be in the individual level free-play speed run section for Death Star Escape and could cut off about a minute from the total time (I have watched the current speed run for the level and it did not use this glitch)

Mine aria is on the northern side of that area when you open the gate using the tie instead of flipping over it and and you will lose control and keep going straight until you enter the trench cutscenes “wall”. Although it is weird that we have different clip spots my bad explaining is also to blame the entrance and the wall it’s on is the right most boundary for my measurements of about 1/3 going along the north wall ( north being the detection of the trench.)

Sadly I can’t show you because my computer will no longer support the game :( But other than that that is similar

Oh, it's 100% allowed. That clip is from the current any% record. I'll try your version of the clip tomorrow and let you know if it works. Most likely it will work and will be allowed.

I tried finding the spot where you clipped out but I can't find it.

I think that is because of level loading differences between my computer and the computer you play on. And the gap was only a few pixels across ( ~5-6) so it’s easy to miss if it was there
