I noticed a few things:

1. Plugin a controller and use the Dpad. The dpad isn't using a 1 to -1 axis value like the arrow keys or joystick. Its making the biggest value as soon as you press it so you go as fast as you can immediately. If you use a joystick it will have a deadzone and a ramp up value until it reaches its max. Just Use a dpad for max speed all the time.

2. RB,X strat? I noticied that only a couple of characters actually need to finish their attacking animations. If you press the switch character button, followed by attack, you can get multiple attacks from multiple characters in a short period of time without waiting for their animations to finish.

3. Clearance Ramp Up Attack - Clearance has the best attack. If you spam the attack button as fast as you can go his attack will get faster and faster. The timer between his attacks is a bit messed up and you can do a lot of damage.
