Submitting a run

I’ve briefly read over the rules

So if I were to submit a run... I would have to have

  1. The video (of course)
  2. Is a timer needed to be displayed while on the video (I would be doing a YouTube video) I’m not sure how to put a timer/splits in my video (if a timer is needed...could someone explain to me how to put it in... thanks)

timer is not needed. but you might want it yourself. timer can be set up by recording your run through obs. watch some obs tutorials to see how it is used. if you're running on a console and don't have a capture card you might not be able to record anything else than your monitor screen

I have an elgeto capture card, does that work for setting up a timer?

as long as you can record footage on to your pc you should be fine

Also quick question (I mainly play on Xbox 360) is pc the best to play on because on the Xbox 360... whenever I start a free play level I always have to wait like 5-8 second loading screen before actually being able to move while when I watch pc once they start the level there is no loading screen and spawn in right away... is it more strategic with this game to use pc?

LEGO Harry Potter Collection Runs moved to new board

Speedruns of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 done on the LEGO Harry Potter Collection have been moved to their own board, found here:

All future runs done on the Collection should be submitted to that board instead of this one.
