I'm really into watching speedruns, so I decided to try it myself. People keep saying that I should pick a game that I love, and this one is perfect, but this one could be hard to start speedrunning :p
Yea, I was wondering this too. I was thinking either this game or NSMBW, both are some of my favorite Mario games, but I'm not sure if the difficulty on this game would be too much to handle for a first speedrun.

Thanks man, I think I'll train each level and the glitches first, than I'll try a real run.
Personally, to start speedrunning, I would choose a short and easy game. If you don't enjoy it, you don't have to play it, but the #1 game to start speedrunning I would recommend is the 1985 classic, the first Super Mario Bros. You should do a retro game because most are short and easy and have mostly easy glitches to perform. Recommend Sonic and Mario 1.
