Video Requirement Request

I have typically requested video proof for any time landing in the top 3 times but currently there is nothing official yet, so we can discuss that here, sure! 1'06 may not require proof but i think definitely 103 and 104 should

Times worth posting video proof could coincide with the goal times I have put in the other thread with the character settings. There is really no need to submit proof for times that are worse than those listed goal times. I will copy and paste them here, one sec.

Times worth submitting video proof for. Anything else is not really necessary to prove due to how many proofless submissions they already have.

Sunny Beach: Normal 1'05 or better

Sunset Bay: Normal 1'07 or better

Drake Lake: Normal 1'13 or better

Marine Fortress: Hard 1'11 or better

Port Blue: Hard 1'21 or better

Twilight City: Hard 1'25 or better

Glacier Coast: Expert 1'17 or better

Southern Island: Normal 1'15 or better

I would say that if the time you are reporting is a world record, it would require a video ca0tured by capture card

I was wondering If just a picture of the time is enough proof? If not, what programs you guys recommend to record the video?

We have discussed this a bit and I believe having top 5 times require video evidence has some support as a guideline. If you are looking to record n64 footage you will need a capture card and software. The gv USB 2.0 seems like the best value for money And open broadcaster software is a free program for recording I would recommend. I think I will make a small guide on here about getting into recording video footage for submissions.

Ok! Thanks for the help, Ghillie!

The guide I mentioned has been implemented into the new stickied thread on video requirements. Closing this thread, please use the stickied thread on the topic instead
