So I was looking into the run for this and I think I understand most of it, I've only been able to watch the marathon run so far but is saving using the menu save mid run to account for bad RNG allowed during the game?

I know plenty of games require single segment but didn't see anything listed in the rules here

Basically, it's your preference if you wish to submit a run using the SDA single segment method (loading isn't allowed) or the Japanese RTA method. There aren't enough runners for this game to justify separating them as a category.
