Im running this atv game. The any% is just winning all the races but the 100% is winning all them plus have the most points. I was doing the any% but i 100% it. Is itz okay to submit the same run to both? Thank you

The short answer is “yes you can”, the long answer is below.

I mean I guess you could, but I feel like submitting a 100% run to an Any% Category is a silly idea because it will be slow. It’s like sure, you could submit a 4 hour run of OOT 100% to the Any% board but it doesn’t make sense because the run is so much longer than a standard Any%.

Now if the 2 categories are so similar that they only have small differences and vary in time by a few seconds, then the argument could be made that having 2 categories is pointless since there isn’t enough variance between them.

I'm a big fan of the Dark Souls speedrunning community. Shortly after Dark Souls 3 came out, for like a day the any% and all bosses WR's were the same run. An all bosses run qualified as an any% run (since that's kinda what 'any' means) and until better runners than the one dude who did like a 2 hour any% came along, even the all bosses run (done by a very talented runner who later had many other WR's at much better times) counted.

I get what you're saying too Timmiluvs but all that is is a reason for you personally not to do it. I generally don't run fuller completion categories of my games, and in the off cases where I do, it's in addition to any%, so it would never be an issue for me.

Sure, it still meets the requirement for completing an any% run. You can always improve it later by doing a run that doesn't meet the 100% requirements if you want to.

From what i understand, its a racing game where you can do trick to get a gold medal instead of just silver lets say. So any% could be the same time as 100% if you are good enough to do both at the same time.
