Hi, I'm new here and was a little confused and I couldn't find another thread about this: I was watching some runs (in the bug limit AD category) and at least two people who are under the "no amiibo" sub category clearly use amiibos in their runs (both used them to get a horse in hyrule field right after Great Plateau.) Am I not understanding what they did? Or misunderstanding the no amiibo category? I'm not trying to call anyone out, I just assume I am misunderstanding the terminology or rules.
In the previous Bug Limit ruleset, scanning an amiibo for Epona was seen as an exception to the amiibo rules. Rules were updated on June 23, 2021 and there was an announcement made in the Discord server.
The Epona amiibo rule has been removed. This rule has been outdated for a while, primarly because of amiibo being a filter and not having as much impact in runs nowadays.
