I've been learning portal for maybe 3 weeks now, and have got my time down to 1:25, but there are two strats that seem to be fairly helpful, that I don't really understand. The second I suppose I do understand, its just I cannot get it, and I feel as though I am missing something (neither of these tricks are in znernicus speedrun tutorial)

The first is the 2nd level in chapter 6, around 46:00 in znernicus run:

He seems to reportal, but whenever I try it, if I successfully get the reportal, I never seem to travel even close to that far (I barely even get to the gap, let alone get over it) Is there something else he does to launch himself further?

The second is the three gels strat, I have seen PerOculos doing it, and I like that he has his keyboard up to show what he is doing, but I still can't get it. I can set up the gel, and I can get myself in falling position, its just I then bang my head on the floor that is above me, I can never make it past this bridge sort of thing. I feel as though I am missing something there as well.

Dustys tutorial doesn't seem to work, not loading on this page, and when I search it I can find the page, but it says it has been deleted, do you know if there is a mirror anywhere? thanks for the other video, but it doesnt seem to have the reportal strat that I showed in the video.

edit: nevermind went searching on your channel and found another video, that details the reportal strat
