I saw in another thread that having multiple buttons pressed at the same time is allowed, but would be having a demo button as your dash be allowed? I.e. every dash is a demo if you dashed to the side.
it would be allowed, but it might not be helpful. there are times where demo dashing directly loses time compared to a regular dash.
most runners have one+ dash button and then a separate demo button because of this
Having demo on your regular dash can cause you to miss dash crystals you don't want to miss, and more importantly means you can't do super-dashes, which help a bit throughout the run. As Cursed said it's technically allowed but I wouldn't recommend it.
you also cant execute superjumps if you don't have a regular dash which are really helpful in lots of places.
