I was wondering is there a website that will explain exactly what you need to do for any percent runs that use glitches. For example if I wanted to speedrun Game X and there were glitches used in Game X I could just go and look it up on a website and read how the glitches are done and then try to practice them until I get them.

For any given game it's likely that the leaderboard will either have a guide for glitches or a Discord where you can ask for help.

If the game you want to run has a community, the first step is to touch base with them. But the step before it is to go to the respective leader boards and check the guides section or resources, because someone from that game might have a route already in place.

But definitely check with the community

Well, resources is things like savefiles, splits, patches. It would be under guides.

I know that is easy with some of the more popular games like the zelda games but not all games have a community and some the games I have watched speed runs on here here dont have anything filled out in the guide section. like I am trying to run a few of my favorite childhood games like deja vu on nes and the glasses glitch I figured out. Deja vu not so much. there is not of community for these.
