Runs awaiting verification

Hey guys, almost a month ago I submitted a 5:01.121 and it's not verified yet. I see other runs being verified within a day, so could someone verify it? Btw I also submitted a 1-warp run and a MWE run about 2 weeks ago :)

A lot has been going on since the beginning of June. For one, the Warpless Tournament has been going on since June 3. And SGDQ was last week, and a few of the mods were away there. Patience is the key.

@Mars02 weren't you told to stop acting like a mod lmao

@DaniëlHarteveld It is not because SGDQ or something, it happened all the time. Unfortunately, 14 mods is somehow not enough (I have my doubts about them caring about your runs at all, I'm sorry, I hope there is better explanation of why they not verifying runs). You can contact mods on private channels, discord or twitch for example.

A mod should add in rules: Do not make threads about verification. We are doing our best to verify them as fast as possible.

Ukraine

Yes, but if not make this threads, runs never gonna be verified)). I can understand that mods have a lot to do in your life, but I said already hundred times that if you can't verify runs, found mods that can verify runs (not meaning me anymore, if you don't like me)). There are other active people in the community).

I understand everyone's opinion, but a month is pretty long imo

@DaniëlHarteveld sometimes verification is so long that I forgot about my run lol

@eddiecatgaming How am I acting like a mod? I don't even know how that post makes me look iike a mod.

All I want is my runs to be verified and people are talking about how to act like a mod. What is this community 😂😂😂

New Hampshire, USA

Yeah I was thinking we should've talked about this in a DM. 🤔

@Mars02 Well first of all, everyone should've waited for an actual mod to reply, 2nd of all, Mars stop pretending to be a mod everywhere, I get you want to be one but it's really annoying when a non-qualified person responds to people's questions instead of an actual qualified person to respond to it, mods have lives outside of speedrunning even if there is 14 of them, there is a lot of runs to be verified, give them a break, now i'm not a qualified person to respond to @DanielHarteveld's question so i'm not going to respond to it, all im saying yall give the mods a break, be patient, and dont pretend to be a mod, please and thank you

@NickySteingraber let's discuss this in a DM, since this is off topic of the thread.

lol theres a ton of people who know how to check if a run is fake and knows how to retime runs and are very nice people and would be very good mods in my opinion i can name a few of them but i think we can all agree if there are runs that are taking months to verify then we might need more mods i might be wrong but i think its reasonable to think that thank you i respect the mods

I'm just going to do more runs in the NSMB series where runs get verified within less than a day. I won't pay any more attention to these runs ever getting verified and have a good night everyone!

Oh and @Mars02 be nice to others please. You're being weird

It a touchy subject around here - I've always been of the thought that if runs don't get verified in a reasonable time (<1 week in my mind, at the slowest) you add more verifiers.

To the mods' credit they have done two rounds of adding mods in the last 2 years.

If runs are taking that long I don't see the harm in adding more mods until the load is relatively light enough that collective working can verify quickly, without all the load having to fall on a small number of currently active mods.

Sorry to hear you're leaving. I imagine several newer players also get discouraged when their pb's aren't verified, we just don't hear about it.
