Thinking about adding "In-Game Time" or "Play Time" to more KH games.

So since I saw that Re:Coded has a In-Game Time option for its leaderboards, I was thinking about adding that to other KH games that has that as well, like Re:CoM, KH2FM, 358/2 Days, Birth by Sleep, and Dream Drop Distance. This would be completely optional to fill out and a minor thing seeing as it requires either viewing the post-credits Battle Report or saving after the Battle Report, but for those who want to, this would give them the option.

Would the igt include the credits tho?

@Sly1020 I know with Birth by Sleep, the in-game time is still going even if you die and retry.

@adamTDA Yeah, the In-Game Time includes the credits like in Re:CoM, KH2FM, 358/2 Days, Re:Coded, and Dream Drop Distance. Which like I said near the end, filling it out will be completely optional and it will be a minor thing.

While I'm in favor of more info whenever possible, I think this could confuse people. I'd personally only add IGT to games where it matters much more or is already kept track of. Having RTA & IGT on every game could be very confusing for outsiders looking at the pages. Not to mention, it'll be nearly always empty for some runs like KHFM HD Beginner (since you can't see the post-game stats), which will then just clutter the page. Additionally, the in-game timer only goes to minutes, no?

I guess I just don't see the benefit, as opposed to things like PS3 model that are super easy to add and allow us to look for patterns in speed, or filter by console if desired. :/

@JHobz The only KH games that does xx hours: xx minutes in the Battle Report or saving after Battle Report is Re:CoM and KH2FM while it displays the full time in 358/2 Days, Birth by Sleep, Re:Coded, and Dream Drop Distance.

But doesn't IGT still include loads? I'm not sure I see the value. I'm assuming the Re:coded one is just there due to an old rule for that game or very inconsistent loads or something. I don't know enough about Re:coded, so I'd probably like Draz to chime in, but if anything I'd probably rather remove IGT from Re:coded rather than add it to different games.

IGT was dropped from 358/2 because it differs horribly across systems / regions. PAL loses 2 minutes on the credits alone which has no game play elements involved which is really silly. I believe its the same for Re:Coded but I'll test it when I have access to my computer again.

Another thing is I have no idea if GOSU actually effects IGT given you're using a different file etc but it could be potentially messy. I know on average that Re:Coded is like ~6 minutes slower IGT than RTA timing.

Also IGT requires you to actually skip cutscenes for an optimal time after you've done the final hit on the final boss which is another factor to consider as I know I personally like to let the final cutscenes play out after a PB although I don't really mind either way its just a few more button presses.

If you just want it being an optimal thing I'm pretty cool with that since we already do it in Days and that has the most issues with its IGT.
