What games on the PS2 will be easy to run? I don't want to run the game if it takes longer than 2 hours to run. I prefer games that are shorter. If you don't mind please check out my profile to see what kind of games I like to run, hopefully it'll help y'all what game to recommend to me

Treasure Planet on PS2 is fantastic. https://www.speedrun.com/tpps2 Another that I don't know a lot about but looks fun is Kya: Dark Lineage https://www.speedrun.com/Kya_Dark_Lineage And lastly, Frogger the great quest. This game looks bad but trust me it's very fun https://www.speedrun.com/ftgq

The problem with a lot of PS2 games is that the system is inferior for speedrunning. Most of the games were ported to Gamecube and XBOX which in a lot of cases are superior for speedrunning. So it's kind of hard to find a PS2 exclusive that is a good speedgame. And the thing is that a lot of PS2 games are run on PS3 which further obsoletes the console. The only advantage to speedrunning on a PS2 is Fast Disc Speed for PS1 games.

With a library larger than Xbox and GC combined, I find that first statement hard to believe, but I haven't checked. Half the games I mentioned are PlayStation exclusive.

As for faster loading times, it'll save you time overall, but if all you have is a PS2 don't be dissuaded from speedrunning on the PS2. Also, beware fast disc speed, in at least one game (Vandal Hearts) it causes sound effects to play before animations.

Truly if you're just looking for the fastest times you should play all games on PC. ;P
