Hi everyone! <3 I'm interested in running this game (and a few other DS games), and thought it would be helpful to everyone if I shared my experience.
Capturing a 3ds/DS game is incredibly difficult right now. There aren't many capture boards left, and the few that are, are here:
The total cost of everything came to a little over $630 way more than I intended to spend. Here's a price breakdown:
Capture Board: $330 (taxes included) New 2DS XL: $160ish Shipping to Germany: $138 (yeah ew)
If I didn't make a salary, this would have been way too expensive. I had explored other options as well, but they were all pretty gross. The capture card I'm getting is one of the KatsuKity ones. People are selling the US based Loopy ones (second hand) for around $700.
By the way, these are just about gone. And once they're gone, that's totally it. I know I'm new here, but it might be worth considering giving more visibility (a new tab or something) for Emu runners.
