I don't know if most people know, but the multiplayer for UC2 and UC3 have Co-op "story" modes and I think they are runnable and really fun! Each mode can be 2-3 players. Obviously we would want 3 players to get the missions done quicker as most of the stuff is battles it seems.

The only downside I see in doing this is for UC2 as you will need online and thus patches. You could either update your game, get all the co-op modes done and then simply delete the patch. Alternatively you could buy the PSN version which would allow you to have disc based 1.00 for main game running and hard drive based 1.09 (or whatever the latest is) for online. I already have hard drive based patched and installed so I'll use that if we do go that route.

I'm unsure of the rulings as of yet but if we do get runs will we require 3 POVs for video evidence? Having to have all 3 is maybe going a tad overboard but maybe having 1/2 is fine?

Below I'm gonna do a rundown of each mission and reference videos to see if they all look runnable (more added later):

Uncharted 2:

Verdict: Seems to be completely reliant on battles but runnable for sure. We can even find some skips I think. I actually forget if the cover breach trick works in the patched version. If it works then I think we can skip some fights. The game actually gives a timer at the end so it will be easy to compare times for UC2.

Verdict: Glitching past that gate at 2:50 would skip both fights! Obviously hoping cover breach still works. Apart from that it all seems based on hitting checkpoints after fights have been done. Looks meh to run unless skips ofcourse. It's basically Chapter 20 and 21 rolled into one.

Verdict: Looks really bad to run. Would be completely broken if airwalks existed but it's just way too many long and difficult fights.

Overall impression of UC2: With the problems of having to patch and then unpatch, I don't think this is worth it but if you want to try it then let's do it. Will need 3 people though.

Uncharted 3:

Verdict: Gun clip might be really useful to skip past the gate at 2:56 and basically save 2 minutes or so. Gun clip to also skip the RPG wall at 5:20? Can basically skip the first 10 minutes if we can gun clip past that door they lift at the 10 minute mark. Same with the door at the 13 minute mark. Also has a completion timer at the end so easy to time. If no skips then looks pretty bad to run.

I'd be interested as long as they're pretty short (<20 minutes) I'd also like to play them normally at least once too, haha. People with me would have to understand that I'll be dealing with Australian latency though and I also wouldn't be able to stream it. 

I'd especially be interested in UC2 co-op, because it'd be fun to try and push the patched game to the limits, and I already have the PSN and disc versions of the game. \o/

EDIT2: As for proof required, surely one video should be plenty; there's co-op functionality on speedrun.com, so we should be able to submit as teams with a single video.

I am actually really good in the U3 multiplayer and I know everything about the coop maps. So i would be there if someone needs a partner for that^^

I don't think latency will be an issue. We'll have to play one time and just see how it feels I guess. It does seem like each objective is under 20 minutes, closer to like 15 with optimal strats.

Verdict: Basically just more battles. On the bad side of speedrunning but still workable.

Verdict: Looks to be the shortest so far at like 12-13 minutes. It's just more fighting. Hard to tell if you can avoid any fights or the checkpoint system is just do a fight, go in red circle, do another fight sort of thing.

Verdict: Looks really bad to run. Way too many fights in enclosed places. Wish one of these co-op areas was puzzles or platforming.

Verdict: Might have some gun clips for skips but would have to play it personally to see.

Verdict: Huge area to explore. Gun clips might be useful. Probably runnable.

Verdict: just grab a shield as kickback and glitch trough every wall :D or downpatch the game and play on lan party and airwalk^^
