Hey everybody, I want to get into speedrunning and I have no experience whatsoever in speedrunning, but I have been playing games for quite a while. Any recommendations for my first game?

Generally, a good first game to speedrun is one that you enjoyed casually. If you would like other suggestions, you need to be more specific as far as what system, genre, length of run, etc.

Welcome to the community. My 2 cents: Your favourites games are likely popular, and chances are you will struggle to get on the leader board...unless of course if you are exceptional. This may be an unpopular opinion, but go ahead. My advice is targeting fresh games, check out the web...get yourself out there in new areas as a starting point (I'll be doing the same)
