Can we please make a rule that the video must show hands on keyboard? There's nothing stopping people from making macros to mash keys for them. I used to do it for casual play to cut down on muscle strain.

Maybe this only needs to apply to competitive times, but it should still be a thing. Lots of other games have requirements like this.

Also, there's absolutely no reason videos shouldn't be required to show the address bar, to ensure compliance with the existing rule about verified versions of the game. This takes no effort at all to do.

Haha is that a challenge? I can easily make undetectable macros unless you see my hands on the keyboard. This is just basic verification, I don't see why it shouldn't be enforced.

@Zook this is barely run already, i don't think requiring not only a screen recorder, but also a hand cam would be needed. Ik the top runs most likely use macros but there isn't much to do about it. However, I agree with the mods on their decision not to require a camera, as many PCs don't come with a second one, and idk how you would even set that up for a mobile device.

It was only suspected that macros were being used by top runs when no one else knew how the glitch worked.

Personally, I think the top runs (WR and maybe up to top 3 or 5 depending on popularity) ought to require some proof of the runner actually performing the run, whether it be on touchscreen or keyboard. The decision is not mine to make though and the community decided that a hand cam is too much of a barrier to entry in such an small community. If this is something you feel strongly about, I suggest you bring it up in the Discord. If enough support is voiced in favor of requiring hand cam, we can bring it to a vote.
