8-1 Flag pole glitch?

Someone did flag pole glitch in 8-1 and saved a frame rule. If it is possible to do happy Lee's faster 4-2 and do the flag pole glitch, it might be humanly possible to beat mario bros in 454 seconds. Can anyone try to pull off Happy Lee's faster 4-2, if it is possible, then we might be able to shave off another second off the mario bros record.

You might want to post this in the game's forum, where more people who know the game will reply. That said, I'm sure someone will try eventually, but it's no easy task. If someone wants to go for it, they'll have to decide themselves.

AFAIK saving the frame rule on 8-1 requires TAS-perfection in movement (or maybe like 1 or 2 frames leeway). It's a lot to ask a human player in a real run, especially with everything that comes before it, but I bet the run'll get there eventually.

emeraldaly. The flag pole glitch in 8-1 is probably the hardest glitch in the whole game. It is humanly possible, but the chances are way too low for a speedrunner to use in game. There might be a setup for it that might make it speed run possible.

This literally doesn't make any sense to what this conversation was about and there was 0 reason to bump this back

That's because it's likely a bot. They don't care what they bump.

Give it some time and either another bot will reply, or they edit in a fishy link.
