New Moderator! Need help!

So I'm very new to this site and recently became the Moderator of Rugrats in Paris (RiP).

https://www.speedrun.com/rugrats_in_paris

I was wondering if there is a way I could update the RiP page similar to Super Mario 64 where they have EMU runs as it's own section. RiP ran through emulation is much faster than on original hardware in many ways, before I became the Moderator they had EMU runs hid by default but that made some players not even want to invest time into the game because "what are we working for" so I currently have them shown but would like to have them split into their own sections not hidden behind a drop box.

Thanks in advance!

You do that with the use of variables. Go to edit game and scroll down past full categories and you will find another section titled "Extra variables/subcategories ". After you add that to your main categories you will have to manually go and assign the variable to every emulator run.

Very confused. I filled out the variables/subcategories and all of the runs have disappeared. What did I do wrong?

EDIT: Or how do I find all the current runs on the game so I can manually place them into their category. Thanks for the help!

That is due to the variable not being assigned in the runs. I thought it would take the default value, but I guess not since they are old submissions. You can find all the runs in the Audit Log.

How exactly do I edit runs from the Audit Log?

European Union

the audit log isn't a place to do things in, it's a list of what has been done

if you think someone on the mod team has done something, you can check there.

You can get the links for all the runs there, then from the run page you can edit it by clicking the 3 dots then Edit Run.
