I'm not sure if I'll be running it soon ( Ill get to it eventually), but I'm just curious as to what the Handheld series would be, here's what I've gathered do far:
Super Mario Land Super Mario Land 2 Wario Land New Super Mario Bros New Super Mario Bros 2 Super Mario 3D Land
Is this right or is there something I'm missing?
If you really wanted to, SM64DS could be part of the handhelds. And also, Wario Land wouldn't be there, it's a Wario game, not a Mario game,
I also would like to say that Yoshi's Island shouldn't be in the console any%. The only reason it has "Super Mario" in it's name was for marketing purposes. It's really a Yoshi game. Just like the others.
The Super Mario Series thing is a train wreck not based on any official reasoning ever. It's not a terrible category, but the list of games is completely arbitrary. The handheld series isn't a thing, but the handheld Super Mario games and NSMB, NSMB2, SM3DL, and if you count remakes SM64DS.
Edit: yeah SML is a thing too I'm a moron.
Well if you counted SM64DS you'd also have to include the Advance games and maybe even Deluxe.
SM64DS is different, including 30 extra stars and 3 new playable characters. The SMA games are just ports if I'm not mistaken. (besides sma4 e-reader levels)
You can now submit runs to the 602 and 1862 leaderboards under the TA filter if you took breaks for sleep and paused the timer! Rules will be more in depth on the category pages on the leaderboard.
