Hello! Basically my computer has been breaking a lot recently and many individuals are mad at me because I am not able to verify requested runs as often as I used to. I am sick of getting these angry messages and I would like to ask to be demoded from all of the games that I am a mod of ( Dev Guy, Run 1 I think is all ) if that is possible. NOTE: I still speedrun myself and do NOT want a full account deletion, I just want to be demoded from the following games I have mentioned! Thank you.

@Freddie You're able to unmod yourself. For Run 1 you might want to appoint another moderator before you do that though, since the only other mod there hasn't been online in months.

Hey, can you please remove Jumpyluff and Whatsoup from the SpongeBob SquarePants Movie boards? Whatsoup hasn't been online in 7 months and Jumpyluff isn't involved with the community anymore (nor is Whatsoup). Thanks.

I have still been unable to get in contact with Sparsie via any of the accounts listed on their profile. I also made a forum post on the Gargoyle's Quest board 26 days ago and they never responded.

I also know of at least one run that was submitted 5 days ago that has yet to be approved on the Gargoyle's Quest board. I don't know if there are others. The last several runs submitted to the board have all taken more than a week or two for Sparsie to approve.

@RogueLink I also tried contacting Sparsie waay ago (january) and also very recently, No response.

At first all I wanted was for the mods to add decimals (have a look at the leaderboard, it's ridiculous how close everyone is) : https://www.speedrun.com/gdt/thread/38fty . The thing is, the only mods who answered me was Mossy, and he said "I'm not the main authority here" (he's a super-mod), the 2 others super-mods haven't been seen in months and the others mods is online but do not answer.

There is currently 4 mods : 3 supers-mods and one mod. Two of the super mods haven't been online for months (5 months : https://www.speedrun.com/user/FunnyMafiaII/info and 10 months : https://www.speedrun.com/user/Miglekk/info), the other super-mod ( https://www.speedrun.com/user/Mossy ) was online quite recently but impossible to contact him (my Discord friend invite has been pending for months : ). The last mod ( https://www.speedrun.com/user/Zen_Aku95 ) was online recently but impossible to contact him (last tweet months ago, Steam friend request ignored), and don't look at the forum (or don't dare to answer, I don't know).

You can talk to people without friending them in Discord.

I am currently extremely disappointed with the run 1 mods. First of all, 2 of the three of them left, making them even more impossible to contact. They never respond to anything on the discord, and they never verify anyone's runs. The only remaining mod, kirk, only provides a youtube account where the last video he posted was a year ago. This is why i don't speedrun run 1. I am currently a run 2 mod, and i feel like one or two of the run 2 mods should be added to run 1 to verify people's runs and make the leaderboards tidier by adding subcategories (instead of having like 13 main categories or whatever).

@SpiderSponge87 Only if you have a mutual discord server in common, otherwise you need to be someones discord friend to be able to write them.

There is nothing to resolve here; with your outstanding past of attacking people if things don't go your way we absolutely don't want you in control of anything on our board. For your specific type of run that was accused as being cheated, Klooger is ¤very¤ much more experienced in these than I, and I won't be going against it.

With that said, I still do understand how strafing works and seeing the comparison video which is "undeniable proof" that you weren't cheating...makes me think you were. The amount of time you spend on the ground (which is slower....that's the whole point of strafe jumping...) is much more than the other, yet you go faster. It simply ¤does not¤ look legitimate, and judging things like this is the point of moderators. There will almost never be 100% undeniable proof of cheated runs, unless a mod-menu pops up, or ¤very obvious¤ speed hacks are used, or something like this...this is the point of judgement coming down to moderators.

And on the last note...our decision was made, weeks and weeks went by that we tried to explain why we fully believe it's cheated, why all your "proof" does absolutely nothing to help your case, yet you can't move past it. That is why "nothing is resolved" because you absolutely refuse to drop this; your attitude and your maturity give you no right in holding any moderator status on any game and if it was my choice alone, you wouldn't be moderating any CoD game at all.

This is the only post I will make about this, just to make my stance clear...and through years of arguing with you I have come to realize that you will never budge on your stance no matter what, so there is absolutely no purpose in arguing with you any longer.

i would like to become moderator for the Nintendo 64 game: twisted edge extreme snowboarding. ive posted a few runs there and asked the current moderator through youtube message and twitter, with no response. there needs to be a change in the rules regarding one of the runs but he wont respond or change them. i feel like id take better care of the page.

@PerkiePie 3 things here:

1. I'm not a moderator of this game, just to make that clear. That is why Klooger's decision "outweighs" mine; I asked the other mods before posting this, and I have enough "sway and say" in the game due to my experience to be able to make a post like that

2. His defense this entire time is that it's impossible to speedhack on PS3 singleplayer/spec ops.... http://www.nextgenupdate.com/forums/modern-warfare-2-mods-patches-tutorials/621204-mw2-ps3-mod-menu-spec-ops-no-jailbreak-needed.html Obviously I do not condone the use of the above link (nor will it probably even work at this point) but the point here is that it IS possible to do so. Speedhack is one of the ones included in this list (what he's been accused of using), and they even show it on the same exact map this run is on. Point is, it's possible.

3. On this "bullying" thing; I have never attacked him, I refrain from it and simply defend myself. Others don't do the same and retaliate...key point being retaliate here. I have dealt with Racingmonster for many years and the hostile attitude towards ¤everyone¤ around him gets him the hate that you see. He is not the victim here when it comes to this, he attacks people, then gets upset when they retaliate...it's as simple as that. Whether or not you think retaliation is okay is not the point, he is no victim.

What I would need to see after the suspicions been raised would be: A run starting from the start of the console, a check to show that the game is up to date (it's been years since I've used PS3, I cannot remember the exact thing...but you can verify a game is up to date which verifies that the game's data isn't overwritten), launching the game, and running from here. If it's not been hacked this should not be a problem.

EDIT: As an addendum, moderators tend to be people highly experienced in the game because cheated runs are picked out easier from the eyes of people who have seen everything about this game. Little things have been noticed and pointed out with this run and every one of his attempts to prove he's not cheating after this, to keep suspicions high.

I bet that at least up to 10% of the (overall) runs on speedrun.com or other sites are cheated, spliced or whatever. You can't reveal a cheater or splicer this simple if this guys know what they doing. So this is all about trust and reputation."

I can say with confidence that no verified runs in mw2 or mw3 are cheated, because i take cheating very seriously; you say that just because he did a good job of making it subtle that he deserves to be trusted with his time depriving someone else of their hard earned world record. Although it may be hard to prove to others that the run is cheated, i am 99% certain it is (barring some weird bug in his console that could increase the frame rate). Because he increases the base movement speed by something like 1% it would be nearly impossible for anyone inexperienced to spot this, but with over 3000 hours speedrunning cod games I'm quite confident that i know what I'm looking at, and it looks wrong to me.

^ That's true, just to add to it the phrase "innocent till proven guilty" doesn't ¤quite¤ work here. It is more like "Innocent till valid suspicions are raised; then suspected till proven innocent." If it was "innocent till proven guilty" then no cheated run would ever be rejected, unless a mod-menu popped up, as it could always be explained away with some kind of BS excuse that would make it not 100% proven.
