Hey All!

New to the community here. So i know emulators are allowed for runs, but i just want to be sure, can you run Kung Fu if you added it to the NES mini with hatchi? I pressume so, irs the same thing, but runs at 60fps.

Thanks in advance

Justin

I would think it ok. Would want a mod to confirm. GL on the runs and don’t hesitate to ask question.

Thanks man, appreciate that. Its the nes mini and nes controller so hopefully its ok. One question is the minus time do you set your timer to so as not to affect the start of the game, and when do you start the timer?

The insides of the NES Classic is an Allwinner R16 quad core Cortex A7 processor with a Mali-400MP2 GPU, which is a pretty common chip in Android boxes and emulation handhelds. I'd say as long as it's the NES rom on NES emulator you should be good.

But like Slackers said, it would be nice to have confirmation from a mod.

Using NES Mini (hacked one as well ) is widely accepted on NES leaderboards, so it definitely shouldn't be any problem. Quality of emulation isn't bad plus it doesn't provide any easy feature to cheat, hence there are no grounds for rejecting it. Just one remark, since it runs at 60FPS ( not native to NES, which is roughly 60.1FPS), game plays marginally slower. That is, your runs will be slower around 1 sec per 10min of gameplay, so in case of Kung Fu it shouldn't be even half a second, which is not a lot at the beginnig, but significant , if you want to push for top places around record.
