Is this thing allowed?

I just discovered a way to load up the game a lot faster after resetting (closing & re-opening the entire game)

Demonstration video

This is simply achievable by changing this setting in the nvidia control panel, but I'm sure that you can do the same thing with AMD/Intel drivers.

This only works on the initial load after opening up the game and it seems that it does not affect the gameplay in any way.

I'm just asking if this is allowed because this seems useful for those who love to reset runs OpieOP

I don't speak whatever language that is but I'm going to guess it's V-Sync. How does forcing it to disabled help the game launch quicker, does it just skip the intros and shit faster?

EDIT: I'm an idiot and can't see a link to a video...

I can't see why not, the game forces itself to 25fps once you get in game if you have the frame limiter enabled. I'm sure someone will find a reason to not though :P

Yeah, "Sincronizzazione verticale" means Vertical synchronization (and "Disattivato" -> Disabled), sorry but the window is shown in Italian.

Maybe someone with an AMD/Intel graphics card can try to search for this setting in his panel just to help non-nvidia users to achieve the same results, posting the required steps here :)

On AMD, in Crimson Settings you can go to Gaming then either edit Global Settings or add a new profile for SA and just change 'Wait for Vertical Refresh' to always off like this: https://puu.sh/x4Igr/b568e4cc34.png

Although I haven't noticed any changes after changing this, so it's either Windows doing something or my PC is too shit to notice a change.

I remember I found this once when I was messing around with my control panel, I didn't know what caused it though. Also, starting the game is actually faster - the copyright screens go really fast.
